Six year old Monica lost her father when she was two months old and was abandoned by her mother since then. She now joins several other children with similar backgrounds for a new beginning.
Welcome to Children of Faith Ministries, an organization working to bring faith and hope in the lives of children. We work with churches, communities and villages in and around Vizag to make this a possibility. Based on the resources available and the needs of the children, we bring kids into the beautiful home at Narava, outskirts of Vizag, India. Although a Christian organization, COF welcomes all children regardless of their caste or religion.
We have 40 children and are in the process of extending the building to bring 10 more children.The need is huge in India, and without help, these kids would be on the streets lacking proper food, clothing and education.
COF also involves in various activities like feeding the hungry, clothing the naked and caring for the sick. Between 2003-2006, COF has provided food, clothes and toys to hundreds of children
How you can help
Sponsor a child! As little as a dollar a day provides food, shelter and education for them. One time or monthly donations are also needed and enthusiastically accepted. You can donate a small toy or clothes and bring smiles to these children.
Our needs for 2008-2009 include:
- Child support for 6 kids ($30 per child per month)
- Pavement for Vehicle (Still need $2,000)
